For managers
- or teachers - seeking
“A Mentality Change”
in their teams or groups of students
In order to grapple with the landslide of information and the ensuing
confusion and frustration, in 1995 we proposed the notion of
"mental
organizers"
to readjust our personal "filters" for organizing, sorting and
selecting information from the surrounding world. A simple rearrangement of
elements helps us to clear up our mind and to use
language dynamically. This, in turn, increases clarity of thought and
expression, and surprisingly, boosts creativity in all its forms. As
trustees of the board of the
Institute of General Semantics (USA),
we are proud to be acquainted and work with pioneers in education.
Ideas espoused by this institution have inspired Robert K. Straus, one of
the heirs to Macy's, when creating his center for Critical and Creative
Thought at Pace University in New York; the two lawyers who founded "CORO" and their training programs on
"Public Affairs" for young leaders, ranked among the best in the United
States by Princeton Review, and so many others.
